Chef Jonnah Ayala hails from the vibrant archipelago of the Philippines and her style of cooking embodies a union of tradition and innovation. Drawing inspiration from the rich and complex history of Filipino cuisine, she infuses classic dishes with modern techniques while incorporating the vastness of the PNW’s local and seasonal bounty. Storytelling plays a huge role in her work and she believes each plate offers a piece of personal history and pride that evoke a deep connection to Filipino culture.
